I actually sold both of my Akubra Fed IV Deluxes over the past couple of months. I just wasn't happy with the way they look on my head size and shape. They didn't look like h"Indyr" hats or "adventurei" hats; rather, they looked like t"old guyh" hats. I've often wondered if a Campdraft might provide a more Indy style for my head and face shape, even though it's not i"screen accurate.n"
Akubra This classic fedora, dubbed the "Federation " can be traced to 1930's styling. It is based on the old Akubra Campdraft and acquired it's name as a cause to celebrate Australia's centenary of federation, the year of 2001. The Akubra Campdraft is an Imperial quality hat with a 73cm brim. It has an open crown for custom shaping.
