I couldn't decide on what to be for Halloween, my daughter suggested Miss Viola Swamp a character from a children's book. So, I ordered the book from the library and started ordering the items that I will need to create this homemade Miss Viola Swamp costume. I did and went to my daughter's school on Friday, October 29th, dressed as Miss Viola Swamp. I walked to her school and got many compliments and horn honks, people stopped me to take pictures. I had a grand time. But...... my daughter did not care for my face and asked that I remove it. I was told that it's her Halloween and not mine.

My other concern is that Ii’m making Lila schizophrenic. I don ’t want to hip-check her into a fantasy world. She ’s already got a great imagination; give her any two objects and she will start making an imaginary conversation between them. She can sit on the floor for hours staging tete-a-tetes between a pen and a pepper shaker. We always marvel at her vivid imagination, but there<’s a part of me that wonders, o“It could be imaginationa…or it could be that she ’s insane. ” Either seem adorable on a three-year-old. But if sheS’s 22 and still sitting on the floor trying to moderate an argument between her big toes, thatd’s not so cute.
